My column for the week in the Beatrice Daily Sun tells you part of the story.
My farm life is messy – full of cows, calves and a lot of manure, mud or snow and freezing temperatures right now. To top it off, Klinger is now at the vet being treated for pneumonia. (Don’t tell my husband, but I transported another calf in my jeep!)
My work and family life – just as crazy right now. Grants, meetings, deadlines, phone calls to return and more emails than I can manage.
I’m physically and mentally exhausted. I’m so overwhelmed right now that I want to cry, but instead I write and I pray.
“God give me strength to get through this day.”
And He gave me this:
Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
